Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Analysis and Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational data to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop advanced data models to support strategic business decisions and forecast financial performance. Provide proactive, data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize financial outcomes and enhance business strategies.
• Report Development: Design and develop dynamic and interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using advanced BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Ensure reporting solutions meet the evolving needs of finance and business teams by incorporating best practices in data visualization and user experience. Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Security and Compliance: Implement data governance policies and ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC). Manage access controls and ensure that sensitive financial data is securely stored and shared only with authorized stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Act as a liaison between finance, business units, and IT teams to translate business requirements into robust BI solutions. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive finance initiatives, provide analytical support, and influence business strategies. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance data literacy across teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, new BI technologies, and analytics best practices. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data analytics processes, tools, and methodologies. Drive the adoption of innovative BI solutions to improve data accessibility and support strategic finance initiatives. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science
• Proven experience in financial data analysis and reporting within the consumer finance industry.
• Proficiency in data management, data visualization, and statistical analysis tools. wStrong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements in the consumer finance industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, highly responsive to changes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: The ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders, such as business users, IT and other data teams.
