Data Science Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Extract, analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business units in decision-making
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Work closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
• Collaborate with underwriting (UW), product, and other teams to optimize current processes and reduce costs for using services from external
• Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to measure the impact of business initiatives
• Automate data reporting processes for efficiency
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop performance tracking frameworks
• Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations to leadership
• Ensure data governance and compliance with industry regulations

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must have:

• Strong experience in data analytics and visualization
• Proficiency in SQL
• Good business sense and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good English

Nice to have:

• Skilled in Power BI
• Banking/Finance industries experience
• Experience in Python, Spark, Big Data processing
