Conduct hands-on validation of data science models developed by the technical team
Ensure models are accurate, reliable, and consistent with company guidelines
Follow up with ESG transition plan to ensure incorporate of climate factors and promoting green energy into credit scoring
Deliver comprehensive Model performance & usage report to Senior Management, Model Committee and State authorities on a regular basis
Track key metrics to evaluate the predictive power and stability of all deployed models
Issue quarterly reports to anticipate model risk and credit quality
Authorize Big Data applications and manage their lifecycle for maximum return on investment and efficiency
Continuously research advanced scorecard methodologies and emerging Data Science trends
Responsible for the coordination and improvement of the budgeting process
Take ownership of upskilling the Data Science team through proactive knowledge sharing and technical guidance
Work directly with Internal Audit and the State Bank of Vietnam to ensure compliance

BS/MS degree in data science, statistics, applied mathematics or computer science
Minimum 8 years experience in analytics, developing or validating statistical models within banking & Financial industry
Familiar with latest modeling practices in Financial industry and global trend
Experience as developer/ advisor to the model development teams to enhance their modelling techniques
Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Python,…
Experience with SQL database querries and PL/SQL knowledge
Ability to think strategically, makes sound business decisions and has good problem solving skills
Experience with Power BI, Tableau
Experience with people management
Proficient in English
