Delivery Assurance Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Acceptance Criteria Governance
•Clarify ACs with Business Requestors, SAs, and TLs — covering functional, non‑functional, integration, and regulatory requirements.
•Ensure ACs support accurate vendor estimation, full test coverage, and end‑to‑end traceability.

2. Validation & Testing
•Lead test execution for complex, cross‑system requirements and integration flows
•Validate vendor deliverables against ACs across all phases: internal tests, SIT, UAT, release
•Coordinate SIT/UAT with business teams and vendors; oversee defect triage with RCA and pay/no‑pay decisions
•Identify, log, and govern defects; classify severity; enforce timely vendor resolution; escalate risks
•Review non‑functional results (performance, security, compatibility, operability); ensure test data and environment readiness

3. Engineering & Automation
•Have knowledge to write and execute SQL queries for testing purpose.
•Build dashboards for quality KPIs, defect metrics, and vendor effort evidence
•Maintain testing environments and automation systems •[Nice-to-have] Develop automation scripts for regression, acceptance tests, and repeatable activities
•[Nice-to-have] Design tools/utilities for test data generation, deployment validation, and log analysis

4. Deployment & Release Assurance
•Review deployment/rollback plans, release notes, and vendor documentation
•Participate in Go/No‑Go decisions; perform post‑release validation; monitor for high/critical incidents

5. Incident Management & RCA
•Lead RCA for defects and production incidents; recommend preventive and corrective actions
•Act as L2 escalation point for assigned systems, supporting incident resolution and knowledge capture

6. Service Request Fulfillment
•Fulfill SRs as system expert (test data, data manipulation, environment cleanup, configuration)
•Ensure SRs are validated, logged in Jira, completed within SLA; guide requestors on best practices

7. Vendor Effort Oversight
•Support TLs in reviewing vendor effort vs scope/value using test results and defect data

8. QA Engagement
•Represent VDM end‑to‑end in assigned projects/products for delivery assurance

9. Documentation & Knowledge Management
•Maintain VDM knowledge base (wiki/SharePoint); document lessons learned and RCA outcomes
•Standardize documentation formats and testing guidelines with TLs and other VDM members

10. Others
•Perform additional tasks assigned by Line Managers or Department Heads

KEY REQUIREMENTS

•3+ years in QA engineering, application support, release governance, or delivery assurance.
•Proven ability to translate requirements into ACs.
•Familiarity with SIT/ UAT coordination, test management tools, and dashboarding (PowerBI, Grafana, Kibana, etc.).
•Skilled and structured in RCA and operational troubleshooting.
•Assertive, confident in challenging vendor and internal assumptions.
•Strategic thinking in quality — sees beyond “just testing”.
•Mentor personality, willing to coach junior engineers.
•Analytical + data-driven: backs arguments with metrics.
•High accountability — doesn’t hide behind vendor failures.
•Fluent English with ability to challenge bug to vendor/developer who is not Vietnamese.
