EMPLOYEE STORY | HOW THE JOURNEY OF WORKING AT HOME HELPED ME TO UNLEASH MY INNER "TIGER"

Everyone has an inner "Tiger" that waits to be unleashed. To awaken that Tiger, you need to step out of your comfort zone. Let's meet Linh Nguyen and hear her story of pushing herself out of the comfort at Home Credit and unleashing the Tiger inside!

💬 Hi Linh, can you share how you found and decided to work at Home Credit?

My major is Children's education, but due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, the children couldn't go to school. That was also the chance that brought me to the current Sales position at Home Credit. I used to follow Home on the website, and I was also told by many friends working at Home that the environment here is very dynamic, professional, and trendy.

💬 You are also the first employee at Home to receive the Tiger Awards, the award initiated by the CEO to recognize individuals who have transformational innovation at Home. Can you share a little about your feelings then?

I was super surprised, as there were so many excellent salespeople on my team. The most surprising moment was when the CEO, CPO, and CCO showed up in person and gave me the award. It was too emotional and overwhelming because I didn't think I had the opportunity to meet my "bosses" in person.

💬 We know that you have had a lot of innovations during your time at Home and have very impressive achievements: 3,500 calls/month, 101 seconds of average time to chat with customers, and targets in March and April were over 200%. Is there any motivation that inspires you to work hard and achieve impressive results?

I don't have any pro tips or secrets. Once I start a task, I must do my best and always keep an optimistic attitude. The sales position requires us to exchange and persuade customers over the phone to sell products. We can not meet customers in person, and they only hear my voice. Therefore, when communicating, I always convey positive energy through my voice and let them feel my excitement. When they started listening, I followed up by trying to understand their needs and their dissatisfactions with competitors' products and trying to navigate the situation when customers refused, and finding a way to "close the deal" successfully.

💬 Do you have any advice for everyone to maintain positivity and creativity and apply initiatives in their daily work?

When it comes to working, difficulties and demotivation are inevitable. However, the sales position always receives and handles those "say no" moments from the customers, convinces them, and finds ways to close deals. It is important to maintain an optimistic and comfortable spirit to transmit good energy to the customer, thereby having good results. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened, as long as you don't give up!
