After a hard day of work, how do you recharge your battery this summer?
Let's check out some suggestions from Home members below with this month's theme of "Active Summer, Active You"! 👇
Mr. Tuan Nguyen – Sales Division
From a young SA with leg pain due to standing to sell all day to a Manager covering both sales KPI and 200km/week of biking
Previously, I had to stand all day for work. Over the years, lower extremity venous insufficiency appeared. Then I started cycling. Since then, my health has improved. I feel less pressure from working and I'm excited to explore more.
After maintaining biking 20-30km every day, especially on weekends with 100-150km, I completely recovered from varicose veins without any pain. I thought that if I were sick, I would suffer, then my wife and daughter would also suffer. So, I keep being patient and practice every day.
With a heavy workload and high KPI, I try to arrange the time for biking in the morning or afternoon. When I bike, I sometimes come up with working ideas which is very positive. So, I want to spread this spirit to my Sales team to go long distances, maintain endurance, let's exercise, and still get the energy to achieve what you want.
Mr. Duy Pham - Sales Division
At Home, the passion for badminton is shared, and the love for running is discovered.
Every Wednesday night, the team is gathered and plays badminton for about 1.5 to 2 hours. Whether you know how to play or not, everyone can participate. Those moments can feed me with wellness and happiness.
With running, I was inspired by Mr. Trung - Sales Division since June 2020. I joined the Home Credit Runners group with about 200-300 members. Two running races are organized frequently with most members completing the 21km race. Especially, some middle-aged female members did try their best and were successful amazingly.
I want to share that even though we are busy, let's continue to spend time doing exercise.
Ms. Yen Phan - People Division
"Accidentally" owns a million-view YouTube channel and a silver YouTube button with the chill hobby of flower arrangement.
Initially, I arranged flowers for my wedding, the church, and to raise funds for the school as a hobby. Then my husband and I created a YouTube channel. Luckily, some videos went viral; our channel reached more than 160k followers after six years.
The flower arrangement is not only enabling me to express my creativity, to stay calm and patient, but it also plays a meaningful role when I have a chance to share with the community having the same interests.
To me, picking good flowers is as same as selecting the right candidate. Since the flower market is empty on rainy days and shortage on sunny days, it is applied the same to the labor market in which there are ups and downs. To excel in recruiting process, we can practice observing, learning, negotiating, and being patient. Just like a flower arrangement, if you work hard, you will succeed.
