"Blooming Flowers of Home" series: Ms. Thuy Tran

💗 At Home Credit, there are always intriguing stories that inspire everyone around us, no matter how tiny they may be. That helps our people become more connected and open to sharing good vibes, contributing to the culture of Home.

💬 “Blooming Flowers of Home” today’s episode brings you to get to know Ms. Thuy Tran, Home Credit Vietnam's Head of Legal, Late & Collection Network and Union President, about her 10-year story here, her second home.

💬 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭.
I would describe my journey to Home Credit in one word, “destined” because I formerly worked in the legal field, not finance. Back then in 2011, finance was completely new and there were few lawyers in this sector, so I decided to join Home Credit, one of the pioneers in Vietnamese consumer finance, to push myself and grow. When starting a new job, few people think that they can stay for 5 years or even 10 years, but I have reached these milestones at Home and still counting.

⭐ The working environment at Home is conducive to each employee's personal and professional growth. Hence, I'm able to set aside time to achieve my own goals such as participating in research and teaching as well as earning a Ph.D. degree.
⭐ I'm able to make a positive impact on the company and the community, especially those who are struggling financially, empowering them to live the life they want now by providing affordable financial solutions.
⭐ My team members tell each other that Home Credit is more than just a workplace; it's our second home, where everyone works hard and contributes meaningfully.

💬 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞?
I believe there are a lot of wonderful and intriguing things to explore outside of work. With each new adventure comes a deeper understanding of what it means to live a fulfilling life. To attain the best outcomes, we should focus on what we do and do our best. The rest of your time and energy is spent doing what you want to enjoy.

I love reading and drawing. 💪 Running 3 days a week, going to the gym 3 times a week, and playing tennis one day a week are just some of the activities I engage in outside of work. One of my proudest accomplishments is that I run roughly 4 to 5 races a year, with the longest one being 45 kilometers for a trail marathon.

💬 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞?
Home Credit will grow rapidly in the next 10 years, just like its fast-paced, potentially reaching 10 more countries. Then, I will continue to enjoy another fulfilling decade with Home.

Thank you, Ms. Thuy, so much for sharing your fascinating stories with Home over the past decade!
